We partner with founders and owners of high-quality, founder-led industrial services companies to provide liquidity, continuity, and long-term operational stewardship.

Start a Conversation

Western Canada's industrial infrastructure demands service businesses that can scale.

Palliser Partners is a private holding company formed to acquire and build a leading industrial services platform across Western Canada. We are operators — not financial engineers. Our principals have spent their careers in engineering, fabrication, construction, maintenance, and industrial services, and we bring that experience directly to every business we partner with.

Our thesis is grounded in a straightforward observation: billions of dollars have been invested in long-life operating assets across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Those assets must be maintained, inspected, upgraded, and optimized continuously. The businesses that perform that work — skilled, relationship-driven, and often founder-led — represent a durable and compelling acquisition opportunity that we are uniquely positioned to pursue.

Our Focus Western Canadian Industrial Services

Maintenance, integrity, environmental, fabrication, and specialty contracting businesses serving energy and industrial infrastructure.

Our Edge Operators Who Understand the Work

We have held the roles, run the crews, and managed the customers. We buy businesses we understand and can make better.

Our Horizon Long-Term Ownership

We are not managing to a fund cycle or a flip. We acquire with the intent to own, build, and hold indefinitely.

What we look for.

Geography

Western Canada, with a focus on Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. We are comfortable operating in remote and industrial environments.

Revenue

Businesses generating $5M–$50M in annual revenue. We are interested in platform acquisitions and quality tuck-in opportunities alike.

Profitability

Demonstrated cash flow and resilient business models. We do not require perfection — we look for strong fundamentals and meaningful improvement potential.

Ownership

Founder-led or family-owned businesses considering succession, retirement, or partial liquidity. We are respectful, discreet, and prepared partners.

Sectors

Industrial maintenance, electrical & instrumentation, inspection & integrity, environmental services, water management, modular fabrication, specialty contracting, and emissions compliance.

Customer Base

Recurring demand tied to operating assets rather than major capital projects. Strong customer relationships and established local market positions preferred.

Businesses we are drawn to share these traits

  • Strong field execution and technical reputation
  • Loyal customer relationships built over years
  • Recurring or repeat revenue tied to asset lifecycles
  • Resilient through commodity cycles
  • Founder or family ownership with succession timing
  • Limited institutional ownership or private equity involvement
  • Meaningful upside through scale and professionalization
  • Committed workforce and identifiable culture

We build — we do not consolidate.

Our objective is not consolidation for its own sake. It is to build a leading Western Canadian industrial services company with the scale, capabilities, and operational discipline required to support critical infrastructure.

When we acquire a business, we are acquiring the people, the relationships, and the reputation that took years to build. We are deliberate about preserving those things while introducing the tools and structure that allow a business to grow past the inflection points that stall many otherwise exceptional companies.

01 Preserve what works

We do not impose a template. We learn what makes each business successful and protect it.

02 Introduce what scales

Systems, reporting, commercial discipline, and leadership development — applied thoughtfully.

03 Hold for the long term

We are not managing to a fund cycle. We invest with the intent to own and grow indefinitely.

04 Grow strategically

Organic expansion and targeted tuck-in acquisitions where they strengthen the platform.
